Better than the pictures

I bought a set for my CZ P07 and P10C because I have a dozen P10F mags, and I love these. The material looks OEM and the added texture shows attention to detail. They look better in person than the pictures. My goal was to have a compact slide, which is easy to carry with a pseudo, modular grip and capacity. Almost making it a Frankenstein full frame.

Not the same

I bought a czp10s last year and the only magazine grip adaptor sleeves i found were variant innovations. I ordered some and was pleased, so i ordered more. A total of six for both the 15 and 19 round adapters. They were solid, good fit and finish. The material was an off black, but i liked it as the p10s was getting a grey scale build out.
Recently i got a cz p10c for open retention carry in the field. I wanted some grip sleeves for the 19 round mags and again all i found available was Variant Innovations. I had a good previous experience, so I ordered four.
When I received these, i was disappointed. They looked close, but the material had changed. And the fit and finish just was not as good! The new material was more black for sure. I didn’t care about this part, the the p10c is FDE and i was planning to duracoat to match anyway… But the fit and finish!? They had to be sanded by hand to get all the printing lines smoothed down. That still left some visible voids that i tried to fill with paint. Then when installed, they just did not fit as tightly as the first ones I ordered last year. They slide up abd down easily. The originals on the p10s mags and very nicely snug and dont slide around in their own…
If they go back to original quality, i will replace these four 15 to 19 round p10c adapters and coat them to fde. If not then u will just go with all base plate extensions on 15 round mags abd be done.
You should try to return to your original quality, Variant staff.
Still, thanks for being the only one making these.

It’s all they do, and they do it well.

I’m an OEM mag and mag extension kind of guy so spending 40 bucks on a +3 from Henning seems kind of ridiculous, considering an F mag with a CZ +2 is even three more than that. I especially like how The Null does a good job of matching the grip stippling on the P10 it shows that even though they’re the only game around for making quality sleeves for this series of pistol theystill tried to make it look nice not some smooth, out of place looking bullshit. I do have to add though that I had to get a third set and designated it for carry because with regular range use the thin upper part on the back started to crack off on one of my other two. A little superglue and some thin sturdy plastic from a package of batteries or Streamlight TLR has probably doubled its life by now so no big deal. Now, who’s zipper do I have to rub to get y’all to make some sleeves for the DWX compact with either the CZ or Mec Gar 17 round mags?
